Corporate and Organizational Gift Acceptance

At the core of our work is a commitment to independence, neutrality, and impartiality

It is for this reason that we do not take funds from organizations working in industries that conflict with our humanitarian goals and values, or which may limit our ability to provide humanitarian assistance.

MSF Canada does not accept gifts from organisations in the following industries:

  • Defence Industry
  • Tobacco Industry
  • Pharmaceutical Industry
  • Extraction Industry

If your company is in the gambling, alcohol, cannabidiol, medical products & health technologies or sectors/companies that supply excluded companies, please do get in touch to discuss any possible donation.

Excluded contributions include: (a) outright gift of cash, (b) corporate events, (c) donations of goods and services, (d) sponsorship or partnerships, (e) company matching gifts, and (f) recognition gifts.

The use of the MSF logo by a corporate partner must be restricted to appropriate uses only, and care should be taken to ensure that MSF’s name and reputation is not harmed or diluted by excessive or inappropriate promotion.

Until a fully executed agreement is received, the use of Doctors Without Borders/ Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) name, logo, or any of its licensed trademarks is prohibited.

MSF reserves the right to refuse donations from any corporate entity.
