Connecting professionals in Canada with our medical action around the world.
The Recruitment Zone helps connect professionals in Canada with opportunities to join Doctors Without Borders/Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF)’s humanitarian medical action around the world, and to become a part of our efforts to provide essential care to people affected by crisis, conflict, disaster or neglect.
Every year, hundreds of skilled Canadian professionals travel overseas to help MSF deliver emergency humanitarian medical care. MSF recruits medical and non-medical international field workers from Canada and elsewhere to assist with our front-line operations all around the world.
The Recruitment Zone is where you can learn more about what it takes to join MSF’s medical and non-medical teams in our field projects — what skill sets we need most, where you might work and what we look for in a successful applicant. We also share some of the experiences of other Canadians who have worked with MSF overseas, so you can have a better idea of what to expect.

Summer 2018: Why we need people with management experience
Nearly everyone we recruit in Canada manages a team when they work overseas with MSF. As activity managers, their responsibilities include performance management and participating in recruitment processes, and there is always a lot of training and coaching to be done.
